Yellowstone Honeymoon Vacation Ideas

Wintertime Honeymoon Vacation Ideas in the Yellowstone Area

Yellowstone area is a big draw for honeymooners. Honeymoon vacation ideas abound throughout this website. If you're looking for ideas, check out our Top Ten Activities and Winter Activities pages at http://www.yellowstone-area-guide.com. My son and his wife spent their honeymoon in West Yellowstone and the surrounding area just last December (2005). They absolutely loved it.

When most people go on their honeymoon they don't particularly want a set agenda where they need to keep a schedule. Still, there are some that want to squeeze as many activities as they can. I've put together several sample agendas that take the work out of planning your honeymoon. My wife, being the romantic that she is, has helped me put this article together. So here are some great honeymoon vacation ideas.

West Yellowstone Honeymoon

Sample Agenda #1

Wakeup, eat breakfast at your hotel or eat at the Running Bear Pancake House. It's located at 538 Madison Avenue. It's easy to find and they serve an excellent breakfast.

After breakfast drive or walk on over to #208 Electric Street. Once there, find Yellowstone Arctic Yamaha, go inside and rent 2 snowmobiles. Get a good map of the trails in the West Yellowstone and Island Park area, and go have a blast. Another option; call beforehand and make reservations (406 646-9636) to take a guided snowmobile tour inside Yellowstone Park. There is really nothing like seeing Yellowstone with a blanket of snow covering everything. Make it a half-day or full-day excursion. Take a lunch.

After eating, go to the Yellowstone IMAX. Each show starts on the hour beginning at 9 am and running until 9 pm.

When the show is over, if you haven't had dinner, go to Bullwinkles Saloon and Eatery. They are at #19 Madison.

Go back to your room and relax.

Winter Sample Agenda #2

Wake up and get breakfast.

Go cross country skiing on the Rendezvous Trail System. It's an olympic class trail. You can rent skis at Bud Lillys Trout Shop or FreeHeel and Wheel. If you're a novice, they can give you some basic instruction. Its an activity that you can do for an hour or all day long.

Jackson Hole Honeymoon

Winter Sample Agenda #3

Get breakfast.

Spend the rest of the day downhill skiing. You have 2 resorts to choose from; Snow King right in Jackson or Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at Teton Village. Both offer great skiing.

In the afternoon or evening when you get done with your hike, instead of driving straight back to Jackson, swing around to the west and stop at the Mangy Moose in Teton Village. They have a restaurant as well as a bar.

After dinner, head back to your hotel for some R & R.

Winter Sample Agenda #4

Get breakfast.

Drive to the elk refuge and take a sleigh ride out to feed the elk. Rides are on a first come first served basis. They depart 3 or 4 times every hour.

Get some lunch.

In the afternoon go to Teton Village and take a tram ride up the hill and back. Remember, though, that the tram will be closed until 2008. Even though the main aerial tram is being replaced, you can still get up the mountain on the Bridger Gondola.

In the evening take a Solitude Cabin sleigh ride and dinner. They serve roast prime rib au jus, filet of broiled salmon, or vegetarian entree. Good stuff. Call their phone number at (307) 739-2603 to make reservations.

These are some good honeymoon vacation ideas for you to look over. If you don't like a set agenda, you can still glean from these ideas and do what you want at your leisure.

Mobile Phone Deals Explained

There is no doubt there is a plethora of UK based sites offering some exceptional mobile phone deals. But how do you decide which is the best deal for you, particularly if you are short of time to search the web?

First, decide whether you want a contract or PAYG phone. If the latter, your options are much more limited, so here, we will only consider contract options.

Second, decide which type of deal you require. Are you looking for a 12-month contract or longer? Are you looking for free gifts such as an Ipod or a small lcd television? The freebies have certainly improved over the last few years as the competitiveness of the market has increased, but logic suggests the better gifts come with the more expensive or longer contracts, or with the cheaper rather than the more expensive phones. This may, or may not be the case, but it certainly pays to do your homework!

Third, if you are not basing your decision on the type of phone you require make yourself a short-list of two or three phones. This will cut your search time down if you already know roughly what you want.

Of course you may already have such things as an Ipod or maybe you are more cash-driven, so what deal can benefit you the most? The answer is to watch for the free cash deals. By this, it is meant the deals whereby you can get a free mobile phone, but instead of a physical gift, you get part or full refunds on the line rental, calls and texts. These deals in themselves differ from price line rental for a period of months, to full price free line rental for the duration of the contract and the latter often include free calls and texts as well. The downside is that the phones are often not the very newest, typically having been released around 6-months previously.

How does the free phone, line rental and calls deal work? Firstly, know how many minutes you spend on the phone on average during a month and how many texts you send. This is important, as for the maximum benefit, you need to match your usage to the tariff, if you dont, youll be penalised by the extra high cost per minute of going over your pre-paid time for which you will not be reimbursed. However, stay within your free minutes and texts and your phone, line rental, calls and texts will be free for the 12 months, in the occasional deal, this may be for 18 months (have only seen this on an Orange deal).

The most important caveat in these deals is to realise that you do have to pay the monthly tariffs first and then claim the cash back usually in 4 or 5 stages over the period of the contract. Also, some companies will charge extra for itemised billing which you may have to take. In addition, watch out for mobile phone insurances, often obligatory in the free deals and free for between one and three months. If you dont want this, it is up to you to remember to cancel it or you will charged automatically. It is worth checking your home contents insurance as these often cover loss or damage to the phone itself but not for unauthorised usage.

Finally, find a site that has already done a lot of the footwork in finding the ideal mobile phone deal for you. Good luck with finding your deal!

Sophie Hayes provides a site search service for contract mobile phones that include a free phone, free line rental, calls and texts. You can search by phone and link directly to the site of your choice taking the effort out of searching the web yourself. http://www.freemobiles4ayear.co.uk.Patrice Blog18137

The Tennis Grip

When playing tennis it is important to consider the grip. This is used to hold the tip of the racket from the frame.

You must find the correct size of tennis grip for your hand because you can damage your wrist if it is too small or cause hand strain if it is too big. To figure out what grip is the right size for you, take a tape measure and measure the hand you hold the racquet with.

The measurement you are looking for is the length between the middle of your palm to the tip of your ring finger. That is the finger next to your little finger. This length should be the same distance as the grip around the handle of the racquet. Young people will be less than four inches where as an average woman is about four and an eighth to four and three eighth inches. A man is about four and a half inches to four and three fourth inches.

This grip must be replaced when it wears smooth or begins to separate from the handle. It is best to change it often depending on how many times you play tennis a week. The type of grip recommended for your racquet can be found in the inside throat. There are two types of replacement tennis grips.

Those are cushioned and firm. The firm is made of high density calfskin, or cowhide leather. This is preferred by those players who want to feel the ball meet the racquet. If you want relief for your hand, you should choose the cushioned grip. However this choice makes it hard to feel the ball touch your racquet.

When your grip pores are clogged up by dirt or sweat, the grip becomes hard and at this time you can purchase an overgrip. Overgrips are temporary grips that should be replaced once for every five times you play tennis. They become gluey if not changed and this can affect your game. If you buy certain artificial overgrips they may be easier to clasp then the leather types.

Based on the adhesive used there are three types of overgrips available. Soft has less friction and causes less blistering but you have to grip it harder to stop it from twisting when hitting off center balls. Tacky can give a person a lot of blisters but it does prevent slippage and Dry has a flypaper feel, this gives a player a good grip but the stickiness can slow them down when they want to change the handle fast.

It is important to consider your tennis grip for power. It will help you reduce the amount of energy you extend hitting the ball into the opposing court thereby maintaining your stamina.

Food In The Bahamas

One of the greatest pleasures of traveling is trying out the food of that place. New tastes, new flavors somehow seem to complete the experience you have when you visit a new country or city, especially if its food youve tasted for the first time. What is a must for most travelers is to try any delicacy that the place is famous for.

Bahamas is a dream of blue sea and white sand. The beaches and the water somehow seem to have a magical spell about them. Its the kind of place where you can let your hair down and feel as though time stands still. And the wide array of mouthwatering food can be had at any of the restaurants in the islands. The choice goes from international cuisines to the native fare. The staple food in the Bahamas is, not surprisingly, seafood. The fish is caught fresh and cooked with a lot of local ingredients, some of which are unique. One thing that Bahamian food will never be is ordinary.

One of the delicacies is conch mollusk. The meat is cooked and served in so many different ways, each one mouthwatering. So you can have conch fritters, conch burgers, scotched conch, conch salad, conch chowder or scorched conch. The last one is just rinsed in seawater, splashed over with lime juice, hot pepper rubbed on and served raw on a knife or skewer with onion slices and fresh tomato.

To get into the spirit of the Bahamas, heres what you can try when youre on the islands. Heres the great Bahamian appetizer, the Souse. This soup is a delicious mix of water, lime juice, onions, meat, peppers and celery. For the morning meal, you could try Fish n Grits where you have fish cooked with salt pork, green peppers and onions and served with grits. The Fish Chowder here is made with tomatoes, dark rum, lime juice and grouper. The flavor is sure to set your juices flowing.

And of course, dont forget the conch delicacies like the Conch Salad, the Scorched Conch, the Conch Fritters and the Conch Chowders. These local specialties must be tried to be believed. You could also taste the Raccoon Stew and the Curried Mutton. Mutton here refers to both goat and sheep. Dessert has a wonderful choice too. Try the Johhnycake which is slightly sweetened bread and the Bahamas specialty, the Guava Duff. This is made with pulped guava which has been sieved and served with a sauce made of confectioners sugar, vanilla, butter and rum.

When it comes to liqueur, you get the local stuff called Nassau Royal which can be had by itself or in coffee. And of course the national beer, Kalik, is a great accompaniment to any meal. The rum-based drinks such as Bahama Mama and Goombay are also very popular.

Whatever you choose to eat or drink in the Bahamas, youll find its all so good. Just remember to include a 15% tip in case you havent been billed a service charge.

Too Darn Many Ways To Make Money!

Affiliate Marketing, Google Ad Words, Google Ad Sense, Network Marketing, Niche Marketing, Direct Mail, Real Estate, Stock Market Investing, Direct Marketing, The 4X Market, High Yield Investment Programs, Direct Sales, EBay and Online Auctions, Information Marketingthe list goes on and on and on and on.

Where do you start?

What do you do?

Here is a story that you may relate with and hopefully provide a couple of ah ha moments. About 3 years ago I was speaking at an Internet Marketing Conference in Orlando, Florida. On the front row was a bright eyed enthusiastic young man in his twenties named Rob.

I was one of the first speakers at the event and my topic was How to Create a $5,000+ Monthly Income with EBay and Online Auctions. I could tell during my presentation that Rob was getting excited about the possibilities of making money with EBay & creating cash flow with online auctions.

When my presentation was over several attendees went to the back of the room to invest in one of my training programs. Rob was the first in line. I discovered later that Rob had invested in my Deluxe $1,500.00 How to make money with EBay package which included 8 hours of 1 on 1 training and coaching along with the DVDs CDs and manual.

I noticed throughout the weekend that Rob invested in 3 or 4 other programs during the seminar. I thought to myself, this is good. He is a newbie and he is going to try to find the right cash generating program for himself. I had the opportunity to visit with Rob briefly towards the end of the weekend, and sure enough he had inherited about $10,000 recently and decided to invest that money into a financial vehicle that would get him out of his dead end job working for the airlines.

I reminded him to contact our office to schedule his first 1-on-1 coaching session and encouraged him that online auctions can be used as a marketing division with whatever business he choose, even if he didnt want to do auctions as a stand alone business. This concept is discussed at http://www.FundedProposals.com.

Six weeks later, I was reviewing my client list and going through some records and I realized that Rob had never called our office to schedule his first one-on-one session which he had already paid for. I rarely do this, but I decided to pick up the phone and check in with Rob.

He told me that he had marked in his day timer to call me that week. He then went on to share with me three or four businesses that he had unsuccessfully tried over the past 6 weeks that had not made him a penny. This was a clue, that this gentleman definitely had unrealistic expectations and I made a mental note to discuss this during our first telephone consulting session, which we had scheduled for a week later.

Over the next 5 weeks Rob and I met on the phone once a week. My goal was to teach him how to make money on EBay and become a full time entrepreneur He got 20 items from his closet and garage on EBay during the first week and sold 16, which is statistically above average.

His second week using some techniques we taught he put $301.00 cash in his pocket. The fourth week almost $500.00 more and he jumped over the $500 mark his 6th week earning $711.00. At this point Rob was well on his way to creating a full time income successfully selling on EBay, and I knew it was just a matter of weeks until he would be able to submit his resignation to the airlines.

His sixth week, he didnt call in for his scheduled training session. I assumed that something had come up and was confident that he would be calling to reschedule. At this point I certainly wasnt going to beg him to continue his self education.

Three years go buy and I never heard from Rob again, until about 2 weeks ago. The phone rang at our office and my assistant told me there is someone named Rob XXXX on the line. I thought to myself Rob XXXX, I know that name, how do I know that name? (I use XXXX to protect the guilty, but I will personally be sending him a copy of this article)

I took the call, and as soon as I heard his voice everything came back to me. Rob, what happened to you? I responded. I will never forget his response. Well you know what the problem is Mr. Calvert, there are just too darn many ways to make money He went on to tell me that he still had his crummy job at the airlines, and all he had been doing for the past 3 years was basically spinning his wheels, trying one entrepreneur enterprise after another.

He said he made the most progress during the short 6 weeks we spent together learning how to make money on EBay and he was ready to pay me my consulting and coaching fee to get him back on track and his income to $3,500 a month with online auctions so he could quit his job.

I see this epidemic everywhere I go. Would be full time, home based, entrepreneurs that are suffering from information over load. They are a jack of all money making methods and a master of none!

Is this you?

I have to admit, at one time that was me. I became so fascinated with the Internet and the possibilities that I spent hours upon hours studying different systems and implementing few or none of those systems.

Here is what I have discovered.

Choose the strategy & systems very carefully.

You must ask yourself, am I looking for short term or long term cash flow?

Is this a system that I want to run for a long time or short time?

What are the realistic income possibilities for this project? This is a very important question. One of the best quotes I have heard over the years is You have to say no to a lot of good projects to make certain you have time for the great ones

Once you decide on a project, you must STAY WITH IT, until you are profitable!

Always remember that the problem is not the project or the system. If other people are making it work, so can you. The real problem is always in the mirror.

The best money you can spend is on one-on-one coaching from a mentor who knows what they are doing. These type of coaches can take years off of your learning curve, and will pay you back 100 times what you invest in their knowledge and expertise.

I personally do consulting with people in three our four niche markets. I also personally pay a coach in another market I am in the process of mastering. I am always amazed that most of the time the people that hire me to coach or consult with them are already full time entrepreneurs earning strong six figure incomes. Yet the newbie will spend $97.00 over and over for the latest eBooks on the newest hot trend and never even consider hiring a coach. Listen, even Tiger Woods needs a coach!

Once you start a project, STAY WITH IT, until it is profitable.

Think BIG! Once you have a project that is working, ask yourself, how can I duplicate this?

I recently had a lady from Utah call me and wanted to hire me to consult with her one on one to teach here how to make money with EBay & get her business started and profitable. She was very discouraged because she had spent the last six months focusing on how to create a website designed to create income from Adsense. After she got her self education, she built her site in less than 3 hours. She said she had finally figured out the formula after spending almost $2, 0000 on books and courses, but last month she only averaged about $5.00 a day from her sight.

My response, You dont need me, you need 999 more websites. This ladies problem was she wasnt thinking big enough and she wasnt thinking duplication. I told her after she had 1,000 websites each earning her $5.00 a day ($5,000 a day total) She could call me if she wanted and I could help her get to $5,000 a month in profit with EBay and online auctions. She thanked me for the paradigm shift and hopefully I will never hear from her again until we are speaking together at a seminar somewhere.

Is it time for you to quit spinning your wheels and get focused on exactly what systems and cash generating programs you want to master? A free book entitled The Top 6 Cash flow Systems for 2006 might help you, and you can get your copy at http://www.2006Top6.com.

After you decided, get some coaching, get profitable & duplicate!

RV Trips Up The Alaskan Highway

If you are living the RV lifestyle, taking interesting road trips is paramount. A trip up the legendary Alaskan Highway is certainly one to take your breath away.

RV Trips Up The Alaskan Highway

The Alaskan Highway is legendary for a variety of reasons. When it was first built, it wasnt so much a beautiful drive as a survivor episode. The trip took you through huge remote areas and relatively small problems could quickly become catastrophes in this wild land. Today, things are much more serene and the trip is long, but undeniably beautiful. More and more people are loading up the RV and taking it on each year.

The Alaskan Highway runs from Dawson Creek, Canada to Fairbanks, Alaska. The total length is officially just over 1,500 miles but you need to travel a couple hundred extra miles when you take into account the drive to the start of the highway and from the end of it into Fairbanks proper. The only significant population area along the trip is Whitehorse in the Yukon.

The Alaskan Highway was started in the 1930s, but it was an odd project. The highway runs primarily through Canadian land, but the government in Canada was not particularly interested in funding it. Why? Well, they argued that it added nothing to Canada since there really were not any major population areas along the route. In truth, this position was correct. Since nobody had much of a counter-argument, the Canadian government put little effort into the project and it more or less wilted away on the vine.

As you know, World War II spurred on massive government projects in the United States. One of the many issues that came up was how to connect air bases located in the upper Yukon area to the continental United States. Since Canada was just leasing the land to the US, it had little interest in putting in roads. After political wrangling, the US Army was charged with essentially building the Alaskan Highway. The Army changed the route slightly to address its goals, but it did complete the construction. In 1943, the route was completed. Following the war, the Canadian government purchased the route and surrounding lands for $123 million, made modifications and opened the route to general traffic in 1947.

If you are considering taking a RV trip up the Alaskan Highway, there are some things you need to know. Caution is the general rule you should live by. The entire route is paved, but some areas are better than others. Ice can be a factor, but it maintenance issues that are the most problematic. Potholes, gravel and dangerous shoulders are not uncommon. Although facilities along the road have increased in number, you will be traveling through very remote areas. Be very careful when driving as help is often not close.

If you want to experience one of the great open expanses of nature left in the world, you could hardly do better than a trip up the Alaskan Highway. Take it slowly and you will have a trip to remember.

Why Outsource in India: A Country Full Of Talented Professionals

The majority of the business organizations and companies these days are now opting for the more profitable and highly productive strategy that is outsourcing. The outsourcing industry these days is rapidly growing. The main reason for this is because outsourcing can provide business organizations and companies with an economical way of getting their business processes done. And for that reason, outsourcing is now the latest trend among the high-profile businesses these days.

Some of companies in the United States, Canada and in European countries are now outsourcing some of their business processes to developing countries, like India. Considered as one of the largest outsourcing centers of today, lots of business organizations and companies outsource their business process to India mainly because of its low labor cost.

The country is known to have lots of skilled IT professionals who are looking for employment in outsourcing firms and companies that accept outsourced tasks. These individuals are very proficient and they are able to produce good quality solutions and products that are comparable to the works of an IT professional in developed countries.

An good example for this would be the help desks service. As a company that offers goods and services, in order for the particular company to stay ahead or at least be competitive enough, that particular company must have a help desk department to communicate with its clients and to provide solution to the inquiries, complaints of the clients.

If a particular business organization or company will set up an in-house help desk department, it would require a considerable amount of money. That particular company must purchase lots of technological gadgetry, hardware, software and all of the things that are needed so that the help desk department will run effectively and efficiently. The company must also employ additional personnel for the department along with full company benefits to act as help desk agents.

But if that particular business organization or company opts to outsource a help desk to one of the numerous call centers of India, the company wont have to worry about purchasing computers, software and hiring employees. That is because all of the call centers in India the essential hardware and software that are needed in a help desk center not to mention the relatively low cost of service.

Therefore, if you opt to outsource some of your business processes, such as employee payrolls, software manufacturing, help desk services, you might want to consider India as one of the countries to look for an outsourcing firm or company.

Louisville Waterfront Park in Kentucky - A Great Vacation and Travel Destination

The Louisville Waterfront Park in Kentucky is a beautiful patch of green in a very urban atmosphere. The park is located in an area where there are a lot of scrap yards, sand and gravel plants, old rail beds, petroleum and asphalt terminals, and an interstate highway that makes it practically impossible to publicly access the river. The Waterfront Park worked to connect the city and the river again and it has returned to a beautiful place where the community can gather and enjoy a beautiful space. The park offers a 12 acre Great Lawn that slopes smoothly down to the river and it is a great place for families to get together and picnic, play, or do anything else. The Lawn is also a fun gathering place to watch fireworks, play football games, listen to concerts, fly a kite, or just hanging out with friends catching some rays and listening to the river gurgle by.

The Belle of Louisville steamboat lives permanently at the wharf and it also has enough space for visiting riverboats and other boaters in and out of the area. At the festival plaza there are water hook ups and built in utilities so it is easy for festivals, fairs, concerts, and other fun activities. There are even pools of water that run down to the river and water cannons that shoot to the pools. There is a fountain at the entry called Dancing Waters that is a lot of fun to jump in on a hot day to cool off. There is a great place for kids to play including picnic areas, hills and meadows, and even tree groves.

Waterfront Park has a second phase that will consist of 30 acres and is currently under construction. When it is completed it will offer residents and tourists and even bigger oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle. If you happen to be in Kentucky in the Louisville area and want a great day of fun and relaxation that doesn't cost a lot then you should definitely check out the Louisville Waterfront Park.

Alcohol and Motorcycles

In the last twenty years, the legal system has created serious consequences for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol. However, the idea of driving a motorcycle under the influence is even more dangerous for a number of reasons.

First, it's more deadly. Riders do not have the advantage and security of a metal cage a vehicle offers in the event of a crash. In fact, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (2003), motorcyclists are about 26 times as likely to die in a traffic accident. It's clear why, it's the reason you love to ride, no restriction, open road. But it's also no air bags, no safety features, and open concrete with vehicles all around you.

Second, motorcyclists were more likely to be intoxicated than any other driver, the highest of any type of vehicle. Motorcyclists had the highest rate of alcohol use among all vehicle types in crashes, motorcycles counting 37 percent, next to passenger cars at 27 percent, and sport utility vehicles at 27 percent.

Lastly, operating a motorcycle requires much more coordination than driving a passenger vehicle. Your reflexes are slowed, your vision is impaired, and you are less coordinated.

For all of the efforts of law enforcement, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and motorcycle groups themselves to lower the incidence of riding while under the influence, the amount of motorcyclist fatalities rose from 1998 to 200, after it had been declining from 1993 to 1997.

And the best part is you can apply for all of them online and with a secure connection. Just from searching google you can find millions of credit card resources.

One of the the best ways to find a credit card comparison website is to go to your favorite search engine and simply search "credit cards" and press "enter". Now before you jump on the first one you see there are a few things you should remember when looking for a credit card online.

1. Pick a website that offers comparisons.

2. Choose a website that offers all of the banks/issuers(American Express, CitiBank, Chase etc.).

3. Make sure the website offers more details on each individual credit card.

4. Find a site that is professional and updated often.

5. After you find a few cards that interest you make sure you compare the introductory APR, fixed APR, cash advances, balance transfers and fees, bonus or award programs, cash back programs, credit limit, annual fees, etc.

Why Life Insurance?

The insurance industry is booming, providing an essential lifeline for the unexpected events in life. Whether its car insurance, home insurance, pet insurance or even life insurance, the insurance industry is there to protect us against the unexpected, and to financially assist in covering the losses arising from these events. It may be easy to understand the concept behind various types of insurance, but one which often causes confusion as to its purpose and function is life insurance. Furthermore is life insurance a worthwhile topic for consideration, and should we be looking to insure our own lives for the benefit of our families?

Insurance, by nature, is designed to provide financial security in the event of some mishap or unexpected event that leads to unexpected losses or expense. Naturally, incidents like car accidents, house fires, vet bills they all lead to great financial loss which ultimately can break the bank for many families living on the edge of their means with a finely balance budget. But what about death? Aside from the funeral expenses of the deceased, insurance can also cover the loss of earnings which would otherwise contribute to the family funding. Suppose the main household earner dies prematurely. This could leave the family in need of childcare expenses whilst the surviving parent is required to work double the number of hours in order to make ends meet. Especially during such a difficult time as bereavement, financial worries can cause undue stress and suffering, and can have a drastic impact on the family situation.

That's where life insurance comes in. Paying into a life insurance policy will mean that should you die suddenly and unexpectedly, your family will have the financial means to cope with their loss, whilst being able to maintain their current financial commitments until they can plan for the future. The benefit of a life insurance policy is peace of mind; the knowledge that your loved ones will be cared for after your death is something which many find reassuring, particularly in households where there is one major breadwinner. Additionally, life insurance policies can be designed to cover the immediate expenses of death, like funeral expenses which can often run into the thousands. By providing a lump sum payment on death, a life insurance policy can ensure your friends and family aren't overly financially burdened on top of the emotional burden of losing a loved one.

Life insurance can often be a tricky area to deal with, and many people find the motivations behind it somewhat morbid. They can often find the concept hard to grasp, and beyond funeral expenses the financial loss of a loved one can be difficult to quantify. However, particularly where there are a number of financial dependents in the household, it can be a great idea to ensure adequate coverage after death, so you can know that whatever happens, your family will be able to financially cope without your earning capacity, and your household won't crumble without your financial input.

Exploring New Zealand by Motorhome

Given the exposure it has received in movies, New Zealand is becoming a very popular tourist destination. Exploring it by motorhome is a great option if you visit.

Exploring New Zealand by Motorhome

One of the biggest regrets many travelers have is that they rush, rush, rush to see and do everything when they go traveling. Given the fact you are taking a break from work, you would probably be far better off taking it slow and relaxing. In short, we are talking about quality of travel time over quantity of things seen during a trip. If you are considering a trip to New Zealand, there is a perfect way to put this advice into practice.

New Zealand is an insanely beautiful country. If you are not sure what it looks like, rent one of the Lord of the Rings movies. They were shot in New Zealand all at once and you can even visit some of the sets. Along with this beauty comes a rather relaxed attitude exuded by some of the friendliest people around. If you rush around to see everything possible in a few weeks or a month, you are doing it all wrong. A much better choice is to go with the flow and tour the country in a rented motorhome.

Renting a motorhome in New Zealand is extremely simple as it is a very popular option with many visitors. The country has excellent roads and plenty of places to just stop and relax. You can cruise along at your own pace and stop when the scenery inspires you.

To rent a motorhome, you are going to need to be at least 25 years old. Rental prices range depending on the type of vehicle you need and the time. Minimum prices run from forty to fifty dollars a day, which isnt bad when you consider you will not need a hotel room and can pack your own food. There are also a minimum number of days you have to commit to with six being the standard. This can triple during high tourist seasons, which are around New Years. As to a drivers license, your regular license will suffice.

New Zealand is a country best experienced at a casual pace. Renting a motorhome is the best way to do this and discover little areas that most rushing tourists will miss.

Taking The Family On Holidays

Avid travelers are full of wanderlust and refuse to give up their love for exploring the world, even when busy raising a family. And why should they? Traveling with children can be a joy and taking the family on holidays near and far can produce a lifetime of unforgettable memories.

Its true, however, that enjoying a vacation with kids is a bit different than an all-adult excursion. Thats not necessarily a bad thing! Traveling with children requires a bit more thought and you may be slightly restricted as to your choice of destination. But all the other perks of introducing your children to different world cultures far outweigh the sacrifices you may need to make until they grow up and you can venture off on your own once again.

Finding the Best Fit for Your Family

Where you choose to take your family on holiday can depend on lots of factors including your preference of activities, like sightseeing, sporting/active pursuits, cultural opportunities, and so forth. Begin your search for a good holiday destination by considering the things youd like to do while youre away from home. These may be activities you enjoy on a regular basis or things you rarely get to do except when youre on vacation. Are you:

An adventurous family? If so, choose a destination where you can participate in fun and daring activities like trekking, climbing, diving, jet boating, and camping under the stars. (Provided the age of your children can support these activities.) You may be just the right family for an African safari or a trip to South Americas Andes Mountains. Closer to home, your family may be ideal for a camping trip through the National Parks or a whitewater rafting trip down the Colorado River.

An artsy, cultural family? If so, select a vacation destination that can provide your fill of cultural activities. Big cities are always ideal, because you can usually find plenty of museums, theaters, concert venues, and such. Try one of the great cities of North America, like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, or Vancouver. Or, if you prefer, choose a wonderful, historic European city, like London, Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Moscow, Barcelona, or Budapest. All have something a little different to offer.

A fun-loving family? If so, youll want to travel to a destination where your family can play together from morning til night. Maybe you enjoy amusement and water parks, taking in a local major league sporting event, playing volleyball on the beach, tobogganing through the snow, or taking part in fun and unique local festivals. There are a number of wonderful places for fun-seeking families to visit including resorts like Walt Disney World or the other Disney properties, the wacky beaches of Southern California, or even a quaint ski village in the Alps. The beauty of being a fun-loving family is that you can probably turn just about any vacation into a rollicking good time for all!

Age-Appropriate Holidays

The ages of your kids will help determine where you head for your next holiday. Teenagers can do just about anything.but will they? Be sure you allow your fickle teenager to be a part of the planning so that when you arrive at your destination, theyll be looking forward to participating in the activities theyve read about during the planning process. Be ready to compromise. Your teens first choice may not be yours, but perhaps you can find a destination that has a little something for both of you.

Traveling with elementary school-aged children can be a treat! Unlike their teen counterparts, theyre excited about everything, eager to learn, and willing to try new things. Kids from about age 7 to 12 are the easiest with whom to travel as theyll make the most of their new adventures.

Trips with babies and toddlers can be challenging. Theres so much to plan before you depart and it often seems as if you need to carry the entire house with you on your trip. Remember, unless youre going to a third-world country, you can buy diapers and other essentials when you reach your destination. Pack lightly and choose a simple destination, like a beach, where you can enjoy fun in the sun. All-inclusive resorts, found in places like the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico, often have special programs for toddlers and also offer certified in-room babysitting services so that parents can enjoy a dinner or evening alone.

Remember not to push your kids too far. Little ones have a limit. So do teenagers. When youre tempted to do just one more museum or spend just a half-hour more in the sun, consult your kid. If theyve already said theyre tired or hot or cold, call it a day. Your trip will run much more smoothly when your children are happy.

Food

While domestic travel rarely presents a problem when it comes to food even for the pickiest of eaters international destinations where the food is foreign can be a real challenge for parents traveling with children.

Even the well-traveled child has likes and dislikes and you cant expect your child to go without a meal. Thats why its always best to bring along a few staples just in case. Peanut butter is always a good bet, as is cereal, especially the small boxes that fit easily in your suitcase. Crackers work well, too. Any of those foods can be eaten at any meal and their familiarity will provide comfort to a child whos overwhelmed by the foreign-ness of the food on the table in front of them.

Also be sure that the food and water your child is consuming is safe. Kids are more prone than adults to intestinal disorders caused by impure water and other food-related concerns. Theres nothing worse than a sick kid in a foreign country!

Plan Well

Truly, good planning can be the difference between a good holiday and a disastrous one. When youre traveling with adults, its okay to leave things to chance, like a hotel reservation or a train ticket. With a family, however, the more complete your plans, the better.

That doesnt mean, of course, that you need to schedule every minute of every day. Kids are spontaneous and just when you think an activity or attraction might consume 15 minutes of your time, your children may love it and you may wind up spending an hour or two at that particular task. Go with the flow and let your children take the lead. Thanks to them, you may discover things youd have never found on your own!

Culture Shock and International Business, Tips For Women

If this is your first trip outside the U.S., you are probably looking forward to the new, exciting experiences that are in store for you. Unfortunately, when you arrive in your first foreign country, instead of feeling excited and full of energy, you may unexpectedly feel depressed, disoriented and lonely, especially if you are traveling alone. The greater the difference between this foreign culture and the American culture youre familiar with, the more pronounced these feelings might be. The technical term for this is culture shock.

For many Americans in foreign countries, the language barrier is often the most difficult issue to cope with. If you do not know some simple phrases in the language of your host country, you will feel very isolated. How do you communicate with others to find a place to eat or to find your way around town? What do you do for entertainment? The movies are in a foreign language and there are few places available where you can socialize easily. You suddenly feel very alienated.

Dealing with foreign currency can also be a problem. You have to do mental calculations every time you try to buy something. How much does this cost? All of these coins look alike. How much change do I get back? This can be very intimidating, especially if bargaining for goods is part of the culture.

While a brief, voluntary exposure to a new culture can be temporarily unsettling, with some awareness of what you are experiencing and a few techniques to deal with it, you will soon begin to enjoy your visit. Before your trip, learn as much as you can about the culture you are going to visit. Read some books on the history and customs of the country. Travel videos are especially helpful and readily available from the library. Get some foreign language audiotapes from the library as well and learn a few important phrases, such as Wheres the bathroom? Waiter, How much is this? Please, and Thank you. Youll likely run into foreigners who speak some English and who love to practice it on visitors. If you know a few phrases in their language they are often encouraged to try out their English on you. Also learn something about food names and ingredients so you will feel more secure in ordering from the menu in a restaurant. If you have the opportunity, seek out some ethnic restaurants at home and try out these exotic foods before you leave.

Plan to do some sightseeing in your spare time. Make a list of the key tourist attractions and find out from a travel agent how to get there from your hotel. Take a city tour after you arrive to familiarize yourself with the area. You can usually book English-speaking tours at your hotel once you arrive. Plan to keep yourself busy. Above all, dont hide out in your hotel room moping.

There are many American and other internationally-known hotel chains in most countries. The staff there usually speaks English quite well and the hotel will quickly become your home away from home if you feel comfortable in it. Look for a hotel with a gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, several restaurants, a sundry shop and perhaps a lounge where you can relax in the evening. Get the business card of a reliable taxi service as well as the hotel card with its address and phone number in the local language and be sure to keep it with you when you go out. Show it to the taxi driver when you are ready to go back to the hotel. Some hotels even offer a shuttle service to the center of town as well as to the airport so you dont have to bother with taxis. Become friendly with the hotel concierge who will usually have walking maps, restaurant suggestions, theater and museum tickets, and shopping tips and who is there to make your visit as pleasant as possible.

Women traveling alone have the added burden of being an anomaly in some foreign countries where few women are employed in executive positions in the business world. You might find people staring or being downright rude. Ignore them. Focus on your strengths, take a few deep breaths, relax and move on.

Exhaustion is also common when traveling. Jet lag is a physical phenomenon and the greater the change in time, the more time needed to adjust. On some trips you may find night and day completely reversed from home. In addition, major cities in Europe, Asia, and South America are quite congested and have a higher level of noise and air pollution than you may be used to. When all of the noise and congestion begins to feel overwhelming, take time out to relax. Get plenty of sleep, eat lightly and drink lots of fluid, preferably bottled water. Get some exercise every day even if it is just a walk around the block (if the area is safe). Bring your laptop computer. Remember your friends and family are only an e-mail away. Above all, keep your sense of humor. This is an experience to be enjoyed; make the most of it.

Feelings You May Have

Depression: When you have to deal with great multitudes of people speaking a foreign tongue, and with vastly different customs and lifestyles, it is easy to become anxious and irritable. The resulting feeling of being helpless to do anything about your situation can lead to depression and an overall loss of energy.

Disorientation: You may be traveling to countries where English is not used on street signs, office buildings, or restaurants. Panic can set in quickly. It is not only very frustrating to try to find your way in an unfamiliar environment, but it can also be frightening when you dont recognize where you are and realize that you cant just ask anyone to help you.

Intimidation: We all like to feel that we are organized and in control of our environment. In other countries, however, you may feel frustrated and thwarted by the numerous steps it may take to do a simple task such as paying for some purchase.

Alienation: When you travel abroad, you may feel out of place, particularly if you dont speak the language. In many countries it is not likely that you will be invited to join a social group or even be approached at a social gathering. You will more likely be left on your own, which may cause you to feel rejected and uncertain about how to proceed.

Boredom: Because of language difficulties, there are not many places you can easily visit in the evenings or on weekends. Since you dont know too many people, you cant even make phone calls to lessen your isolation. Sightseeing presents both transportation and language problems as do sojourns to the movies and theater -- but how many times can you watch the same CNN or Sky Net programs on TV?

Exhaustion: You truly do expend more energy doing less when you are on the road. Adjusting to jet lag, getting to your business appointments on time, maneuvering through crowds on the street, finding a cab, and haggling with a shopkeeper over prices when you are trying to pick up a few souvenirs can be physically and mentally exhausting.

Attitude Adjustments

Recognizing that any uncomfortable or negative feelings youre experiencing in this new culture are normal will help alleviate your discomfort. Its also helpful to know that others have similar reactions. Remind yourself that you are traveling for a purpose and that youll be going home when your job is done. Here are some suggestions that may help ease your adjustment:

Take care of your health. Get plenty of sleep and be careful about what you eat and drink. Get daily exercise.

Relax. When the noise and crowds get to you, take some time out for yourself. Consider bringing a tape deck and a relaxation tape with you to listen to for twenty minutes a day. Luxuriate in a bubble bath.

Dont mope around your hotel room. Stay active: jog, swim, or join a local exercise group if you have an extended stay. Take a walk through a local park or visit a museum (check with your hotel first on what areas are not safe and should be avoided). Re-center yourself by focusing on your strengths and pursuing your interests.

Keep your sense of humor. Look for the amusing aspects of your situation. At least you will have lots of good stories to tell when you get home. Laughter releases tension.

Know you are envied. Many people appreciate the exotica of other cultures and would give their eyeteeth to be in your position. This should bring you some sense of satisfaction.

If you are traveling for an extended period of time, try bringing a few things from home to put in your room, such as photos, your favorite pillow and maybe some of your favorite CDs to play while walking around.

Travel with a companion. If you know someone else who is also traveling on business, think about coordinating your schedules to meet for dinner or for sightseeing. It is easier to face a new environment as a team than to face it alone.

Preparing for Culture Shock

Get to know the people you will visit. Use phone, fax, or letter to initiate your relationships. A friendly reception is more likely to await you when you arrive.

If you are traveling to a country for the first time let your hosts know and ask them for some advice on what to do and see while you are there. You might find that they will spend more time with you if they know you are there for the first time, and may even make arrangements for you or help you arrange to see some cultural events or take a tour. Most hosts will appreciate your interest in their country and culture, and this will help enhance your relationship.

List places you think you might want to visit. Jot down interesting day and evening destinations that you might like to visit in your spare time.

Plan your days carefully, finding activities that will help you fill your spare time. If you are very busy, you will have little time to experience culture shock.

Exploring On Your Own

If you can, take a city tour soon after you arrive. This is a safe and comfortable way to become familiar with your new environment. Short tours (about four hours) in English can usually be booked at the hotel, where you will be picked up and dropped off afterward. Tours also provide a good opportunity to meet other women business travelers.

Do a little bit of sightseeing each day. Visiting even one city site on the way back to your hotel from a meeting or on the way to lunch or dinner will help give you a deeper understanding of the culture and the people.

If the area is safe for walking (ask at the hotel), get a map and explore. Your hotel will provide a map of the surrounding area at your request. A walk through the neighborhood will help you see how people live and work. Be smart about walking and do so only during daylight hours and in safe areas.

Hire a driver or use a taxi. In many countries it is very reasonable and a safe way to sightsee. Renting a car in foreign countries may be more than you can or would want to handle. In many countries public transportation is your best bet -- except during commuter hours when it may be very crowded.

Plan your travel routes. Keep the telephone numbers of taxis, and bus and train route maps with you, as well as a card from your hotel in the local language in case you get lost. City maps can easily be obtained from tourist offices at the airport or downtown as well as from your hotel concierge or desk clerk.

Establish familiar grounds. Frequent certain lunch and dinner spots and evening hangouts to help you establish a rapport with the owners and locals and make you feel like youre part of the group.

Talk to locals who speak English. They appreciate the chance to practice their English and will be delighted at your interest in their culture and more than happy to answer your questions about it.

Adapting

Be flexible. Allow plenty of time to get to appointments. Bring a book to read in case you have to wait. Try to figure out ways to avoid offending your hosts while satisfying your own needs.

Be patient. People in foreign countries are not usually as direct or in as much of a rush as people in the U.S. When you feel yourself getting uptight, take a few deep breaths and visualize a calming scene. Remember that people wont behave the way you expect or want them to, and getting upset wont make you or them feel any better.

Ask your hosts some questions about their country and culture. They will usually enjoy talking about it, which will help you better understand and appreciate what you are seeing.

Develop friendships by showing interest in your hosts. This, in turn, will help overcome what you may initially perceive as a negative environment.

Keep an open mind. Look for similarities and intriguing differences between your culture and the one you are visiting. Focus on the good aspects. Try role reversalhow would you react if a foreign businessperson visiting you in the United States insisted that their way of living and doing business was the only way? When youre in another country, remember to do as the locals do, since it is your ways that may seem strange or offensive to them.

Try to remember to keep a sense of humor. When you feel confused, embarrassed, or upset, smile, smile, smile.

Free Time

It is inevitable when you travel that things wont always go according to plan. You will probably experience delays and have free time. In general, when you travel internationally it is wise to allow more time to get to where you are going. You will most likely experience a delay at airports, on public transportation or from traffic. You might have difficulty finding an address. You might also find that a meeting has been canceled or rescheduled once you have already arrived. In general, be prepared for unexpected free time.

Free Time During Travel

Keep a book or some magazines handy to help pass the time. It can be very frustrating to sit in an airport with an extended delay with only one English newspaper available for sale at the newsstand.

Bring a CD or cassette player with you with your favorite music or, even better, language tapes for the country you are visiting. It will help pass the time and help you learn some key phrases. (Remember to bring extra batteries.)

Many airports have services for business travelers who are delayed. Some excellent stop-over points include: Heathrow Airport, in London, England; Frankfort International Airport, Germany; the Miami, Florida airport for those en route to Latin America; and the Singapore airport for those traveling in the Far East. Services may include health clubs, showers, swimming pools, movies, city tours, and nap rooms.

If you plan to travel a lot, it is wise to join one of the many airline hospitality clubs offered by major airlines. These clubs provide a quiet area in which to relax in a comfortable environment during a long delay. You will most likely also meet other traveling businesswomen there. Many of these hospitality clubs serve refreshments and offer various other amenities such as TV, flight confirmation and magazines.

If you are traveling overseas and have not joined a club, see if you are eligible for one-time use of a club in an international airport. Many times if you are flying business- or first-class the club entry is included with the flight as a layover courtesy.

Free Time at Your Destination

If a meeting is canceled or postponed and you cant make business use of the time, take a tour to familiarize yourself with the area you are visiting. Your hosts will appreciate your efforts to understand their culture.

If you dont have a lot of time to sightsee, walk around the city (ask first if it is safe to walk around and for suggested areas to walk) to get a feel for how the people live, eat, and interact with each other.

If you have a part of a day which is free (due to a canceled meeting, for example) talk to your hotel concierge about a morning or afternoon tour or hire a taxi to take you to the major sight seeing spots.

Many hotels offer nightlife tours that include a city illumination tour, dinner and a cultural show. Many of these excursions can be booked the same day so you can fit it in to your busy schedule. It is a great way to learn about the culture and meet other businesswomen on the road.

Check to see if any museums or department stores have late night hours. Major cities such as London and Paris have extended hours at least one night a week, which is ideal for business people on the road.

Getting Money From A Reverse Mortgage

A reverse mortgage allows homeowners over the age of 62 to cash in on the equity of their home. The homeowner can use these funds in anyway they want. Some have used the money for extended term care or home improvements.Homeowners usually run into very little difficulty in securing these funds. The funds are practically free because with the exception of the fees, more than likely, the mortgages will not be paid back over the course of the homeowners life.

There are several payment options to choose when receiving funds from a reverse mortgage. In most cases you can choose one or more of them based on your needs.

* Getting your money in a lump sum: Most often the money from a reverse mortgage is paid in a lump sum. You will receive one payment which equals the value of your home.

* Getting a specific amount paid over the course of a number of years: With this option the homeowner will receive payments over a specific course of time, 10 years for example. This could be a great help in managing funds over a period of time.

* Getting a specific amount paid to the homeowner every month until they die or permanently move out of their home: Receiving monthly payments gives the homeowner a sense of security in knowing that their money will not run out before they die.

* Getting a line of credit. Funds can be provided as a line of credit and be paid back to the lender. A specific amount could be taken out to make repairs or to pay a bill as the funds are needed.

Getting the right type of terms for your needs is totally up to you.Give thought to what your needs are, how much funding is required and how soon you will need the funds. Some homeowners have gotten a lump sum and transferred it into a savings account until needed. The funds are yours and you can do whatever you want to with it with no restrictions.

Christmas Presents for Pooches

Dogs are mans best friend, and as any dog owner will tell you, they really do become part of the family. This is probably why we can't leave the family dog out of the festivities at Christmas time. There are many of products on the market for dogs from doggie treat Christmas stockings, to Christmas theme food dishes, to Santa costumes to dress your dog up! Santa wrote a particular request asking people not to buy rubber Santa chew toys, because on Christmas eve when Santa is delivering presents, many dogs are looking a little too pleased to see him.

Why not take the time to make your best friend and extra special gift this Christmas, a Christmas sleigh bell dog collar.

All you need is...
A dog collar, bells, felt and glue.

The dog collar needs to be a fabric or woven type collar that can be stitched into. Choose a nice festive colour like red.

You can buy bells from craft shops or your local haberdashery. The larger the bell the more 'Sleigh bell' the ring of the bell will sound, and your pooch will sound like a reindeer prancing along. Small bells have a high pitch ring, ideal for small or lady like dogs, the delicate tinkle makes them sound like small Tinkerbell the fairy.

Adjust the collar to fit your dog comfortably.

Sew bells at regular intervals around one edge (the bottom edge). About 4 CMS is a good gap between bells.

If you are using small bells sew them on in clusters of two or three larger bells can be sewn on singularly.

The bells need sewing on firmly so that they don't come off. Your dog may try to eat them.

Cut out holly leaf shapes and berries from some felt and glue them into place between the bells. You could substitute the holly leaves for fabric Christmas tree bows for lady dogs.

Purchasing Insurance For Travel Tours Abroad

To purchase or not to purchase travel insurance, that is the question. If you have done some research or talked to a travel agent, you might have been told that insurance is absolutely necessary. After all, you have put a lot of money into airfare and booking your hotel. But does that mean you need to spend more on insurance?

Travel insurance was created to make sure your money is refunded should something go wrong at the last second. This includes many circumstances that would prevent you from traveling, like illness or a flight being canceled due to inclimate weather. If your plans are put on hold, at least you will get your money back. But there are ways this insurance can help you while you are on vacation as well.

When taking travel tours abroad, check and see if your normal health insurance will cover you in a foreign country. Often, plans either do not cover you, or are just not accepted abroad. Should this be the case for you, then invest in travel insurance. This way, you are sure to be covered if you need medical attention while on vacation.

Unfortunately, travelers these days need to be aware of terrorism when they travel abroad. Should terrorist activity occur where you are about to vacation, your airline is not necessarily required to refund the cost of your ticket. However, if you have travel insurance, you will be covered.

Flight cancellation is another eventuality covered by travel insurance. Any number of things could prevent you from leaving the ground. You might have scheduled your vacation during the worst snow storm in twenty years, or maybe you airline just goes out of business. Travel insurance protects the money you have invested in your ticket. Perhaps circumstances in your life prevent you from taking advantage of vacation deals. Should somebody in your family die or become ill, you can cancel your plans without penalty. Whatever may happen to prevent you from leaving, you are covered.

If you loose your luggage, you will also be covered by travel insurance. Usually, the baggage is returned by the airline; though, sometimes, it is simply misplaced and never found. Or, your luggage might be returned with items missing. Travel insurance gives you the money to replace anything that cant be found so you can enjoy your trip as planned.

When deciding on a specific insurance company, it is a good idea to research your options before choosing. Different plans work best for specific vacations. Perhaps you are not buying a plane ticket, but taking a cruise. If you travel often for business or pleasure, you can even purchase a policy that covers you for extended periods of time. These plans save you the hassle of buying a policy for each individual trip. Ask questions before you make a final decision to be sure that you are getting all the coverage you need. You wouldnt want to insure yourself, only to find that your particular vacation disaster is not covered under your policy.

Know If Instant Payday Loans Are Right For You

You've seen the ads and have heard the stories. Now, you yourself need extra cash to cover for an emergency expense. Are instant payday loans the best solution for you? We examine what you need to know about these types of loans and whether or not you should turn to them to help solve your temporary cash problems.

What are instant payday loans?

If you're familiar with cash advances, then you have an idea of what instant payday loans are. These are unsecured loans that are available in small amounts, typically ranging from $100 to $1000. Some lenders offer more, especially if you qualify.

If they are unsecured, what do I use for collateral?

Instant payday loans are designed for emergency cash needs, that is why they are available only in smaller amounts. If you need say, $2500, for example, you'll have to find another source for your loan. While you will not be required to provide collateral, most lenders will require you to issue postdated checks, a show of good faith that you will pay back your loan.

What are the benefits of using instant payday loans?

Aside from being one of the easiest forms of loans to get, instant payday loans offer fast, convenient and secure transactions. Application procedures are short and do not require you to produce a lot of documentations. As long as you meet the qualifications, you could receive the money within 24 hours, even earlier.

Are there any disadvantages I should be aware of?

Instant payday loans by their very nature require a little bit of protection for the lenders. That is why borrowers are often charged higher interest rates compared to other types of loans. That makes instant payday loans more expensive. Lenders usually charge you about $15 for every $100 you borrow while other lenders charge as much as $30. That, and the fact that you will have to pay back the loan within a short period of time (usually as short as 14 days), makes instant payday loans a little difficult to handle.

However, you can try to find a lender who can offer you the lowest rates. That way, your loan is a lot easier to pay for and you could save a lot of money in the process. Talk to several lenders first before you make your final decision.

Should I get an instant payday loan?

Instant payday loans are right for you if you only need a small amount of cash for a temporary problem. Instant payday loans should not be used to pay for more regular expenses such as mortgage, groceries or luxuries like clothes and sports equipment. Regular use of these types of loan should be limited and must be resorted to only in real emergency cases.

You should also get an instant payday loan if you can pay back the loan amount and the interest on or before the agreed date. The horror stories you have heard about are people who obtained instant payday loans and were unable to pay them. They had these loans 'rolled over' as a new loan with a higher interest and ended up with a loan amount that is far too big for them to handle efficiently.

A lot of people have been helped by instant payday loans but only because they knew exactly what they were getting into and were prepared to face them. Make sure you understand what is expected of you and you can take advantage of the full benefit of instant payday loans.

Travel To Machu Picchu

One of the most visited sites in the world today by travelers is Machu Picchu. It is located in Cuzco, Peru in the high Andes Mountains. It is approximately 724 miles away from Lima, the Peruvian capital. A typical trip by land on a bus takes about 20 hours. One could also take a flight and arrive there in a heartbeat of one hour. The starting point usually begins in Lima.

The ruins sit surrounded by the Andes Mountains at about 11,024 feet above sea level. The name Machu Picchu literally means old peak, translated from the Quechua language. It was discovered by Hiram Bingham on July 24, 1911 while he was in charge of a Yale University expedition. It was in this landscape that the Incas built Machu Picchu at the end of the fourteenth century.

The climate is mild, warm and damp. It has a year round average temperature of 55F during the day. There are typically two seasons, a rainy season which lasts from November to March and dry season, which lasts from April to October. Most travelers prefer to travel to the site during the dry season.

Personal Travel Experience

I had the pleasure of visiting Machu Picchu 22 years ago around this time when I was a small child. I was accompanied by my mother. The scenery was beautiful and breathtaking. We took a train from the city of Cuzco and it took us just a few hours to get to Machu Picchu. Then we had to take a small bus up the trail all the way to the top. Nowadays, there are two ways to connect from Cuzco. One is a Tourist Train, which only operates in the high season. The trip takes four hours and returns in the evening. Then there is also the Autovagon, a tourist service that takes three hours to get to the site with an evening return trip as well. Both leave in the early morning hours.

We highly recommend you to put Machu Picchu, Peru as one of your top travel destinations to visit in the near future. The experience will be unforgettable.

UPDATE: On July 7th in Lisbon, Portugal, Machu Picchu was voted in as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.

All You Need To Know About Airfare Deals And Great Last Minute Travel Getaways.

Ah, there's nothing better than taking a vacation. Daydreaming about an island breeze seducing you into an afternoon sleep or planning your hiking adventure, any concept of an escape is always welcome. Unlike some people, I absolutely love planning my vacations. I love finding information on different purposes and looking for those great hotel and airfare deals. The best hotel and airfare deals are usually found when purchasing a vacation package, but once in a while, you can get great discounts when purchasing separately.

The internet has tons of sites that will gladly help you find the airfare deals you are looking for. I have found and been very frightened with several places because of their truthfulness. I booked an amazing airfare deal through Orbitz last year, and saved more money than I would have otherwise. I can't tell you which travel sites are the best because I've compared many of them before and found that most of them are pretty much offering the same exact deal, just perhaps a few dollars different.

In all honesty, my travel agent wasn't charging me much more than those sites were. Sure, it was maybe $20 more, but maybe that's worth the convenience of having the agent take care of all the details for you. I suppose it depends on your budget and need for someone else to take care of all the details.

My absolute favorite vacation was a trip to California. I live on the east coast so a trip to the west coast was very exciting. I spent an entire week comparing hotel prices and costs of entertainment. Once I had my destinations planned, I spent a few days researching airfare deals. It actually amazed me at how different each airline was with its cost. I did manage to find some great airfare deals online and took advantage of them.

A lot of resorts, such as Sandals, allow you to purchase a package with includes airfare and hotel accommodations. I've never taken the time to break down all of the costs and see which purchase is the best way to go, but in my opinion, instead of searching for amazing airline deals and hotel rates, go for the package. Let someone else take care of all of the details for you. That makes vacation planning much less demanding.

Be cautious of those amazing airfare deals that have lots of restrictions in fine print. Read all of those tiny words and make sure you aren't purchasing something that you don't really want. Sometimes you can get airfare deals that require many layovers or late night flights. I am personally fine with taking a night flight but can't stand layovers.

Once I'm on a plane, don't make me move until I'm at my destination. If those restrictions don't bother you, you may find yourself getting some great money saving airfare deals. Whatever hotel you stay at or airline you choose, just make sure you have a wonderful vacation.

An Overview Of The Master Plan For Baltimore Schools

On July 1, 2007, Andres Alonso officially became chief executive officer of Baltimore Schools. He will oversee approximately 180 schools and 82,000 students, with the help and guidance of the Baltimore Schools master plan. The master plan is guided by the Baltimore Schools vision, which is clear, desirable, and inspiring:

Accelerating the academic achievement of all students, in partnership with the entire community, to ensure that students have the attitudes, skills, and proficiencies needed to succeed in college and in the 21st century global workforce.

The district believes that achieving this vision is entirely possible by fulfilling the Baltimore Schools mission:

To accelerate student progress through effective implementation of the Baltimore Schools master plan, focusing on quality instruction, managing systems efficiently, and sustaining a culture of excellence.

The Baltimore Schools master plan priorities have been established in accordance with State guidelines and provide the core of the school system's plans for improving the academic achievement of all students. Goals of this master plan as listed below:

Goal 1: By 2013-2014, all Baltimore Schools students will reach high standards, at a minimum attaining proficiency or better in reading/language arts, and mathematics.

Goal 2: All Baltimore Schools students that have limited English proficiency will become proficient in English and reach high academic standards, at a minimum attaining proficiency or better in reading/language arts and mathematics.

Goal 3: By 2005-2006, all core academic subject classes (CAS) will be taught by highly qualified teachers.

Goal 4: All students will be educated in learning environments that are safe, drug-free, and conducive to learning.

Goal 5: All students will graduate from high school

Goal 6: Effective management of systems will support student achievement. Such systems cover accountability, communications with parents, the community, and business partners. Baltimore Schools recognize that making a difference for its students is more than simply writing a check. Many businesses provide assistance to schools in a variety of ways including the donation of materials, merchandise and volunteer hours. There is growing evidence that school/business partnerships improve the capacity of individual families, schools and communities. Businesses are thus more willing to support teaching and learning. When students connect school work with the world of work, they are motivated to learn. There are several ways that businesses can help out Baltimore Schools: mentoring, tutoring, becoming a guest reader, giving monetary contributions, and donating school supplies. However, donations can range from pencils to computers; books to playground equipment; flowers to furniture. Volunteering in Baltimore Schools, offering internships to Baltimore Schools students, or joining the staff as an adjunct faculty member are also ways for businesses to maintain a healthy partnerships with Baltimore Schools.

It is also a goal of the district that finances and operations of facilities, transportation, and nutrition services within Baltimore Schools will be effective and efficient. Throughout all of Baltimore Schools, students, parents, teachers, and administrators have many opportunities to experience the positive changes that implementing this master plan can offer.

Basic tools needed; wire cutter, scissors, painters tape, a sea sponge and assorted paintbrushes, and metal glue
*(all above items are available at arts and craft supply stores)

This year, deck the halls with beautiful ball creations in medleys of rich colours and styles. Make your own holiday ornaments to add among your cherished oldies and to treasure for years to come. Decorating the home with impressive ornaments has never been easier to achieve, utilizing only a handful of basic craft supplies. Glass ball ornaments with sophistication from eclectic to elegant designs are painted with brilliant colours and magnificently decorated with copper leafing, rice paper, beads, tassels and ritzed up with glitz.

Aside from decorating a traditional Christmas tree, ball ornaments make distinguished decorations to beautify an entrance, a hallway, or to grace a mantel. Mixtures of solid colours or striped balls are simply splendid displayed in tall vases, large bowls or incorporated into a spectacular centerpiece.

If you live in a small space, decorating with ornaments is a fantastic way to add wonderment to your dcor without incorporating a huge tree. Smaller glass versions are perfect to jazz up tabletop trees and to create stylist floral arrangements.

Preparing the base of the glass ornaments:

Prepare the glass surface for painting by washing the balls thoroughly with soap and water and wipe dry.

Attach a decorative string to the metal cap tips that come with the glass balls. It makes it easier to handle the balls while painting and practical to hang them for drying on an ornament stand or a coat rack with pegs.
Paint the surfaces of the glass balls with a soft bristle paintbrush using Vitrail paints in your choice of colours from emerald, red violet to turquoise blues. I used a rich palette of crimson, brown, and burnt amber. Since these are decorative items only, I used Vitrail solvent based paints because the colours are brilliant and they dont need to be heat set. Once painted hang the balls to air-dry. They will dry within hours and be ready to decorate within a 48 hour period. Use a solvent base cleaner to clean your brushes well.

Eclectic paper collage; Painted glass balls are garlanded with assorted scraps of colourful and white rice papers. Use paper bits and pieces leftover from other holiday projects. Apply a coat of Mod Podge over the surface of the ball. Randomly apply and layer tiny paper pieces around the ball, leaving some areas exposed in order to see its colour. To secure the paper composition into place, apply a top coat of Mod Podge and let dry. Once dry apply a coat of sparkle glaze to make them glitter and glow.

Renaissance: Apply vertical stripes evenly spaced all around the ball with a fine point paintbrush using Porcelaine 150, Vermeil gold. For a majestic look apply rhinestones garnishes over the dried gold stripes using metal glue.

Baroque: Apply narrow painters tape to create two stripes on the bottom half of a glass ball. Apply adhesive sizing with soft paintbrush to the area between the tape stripes. Set the ball a side to allow the adhesive to become dry and tacky to the touch (15-60 minutes). Place and press copper leaf over the adhesive medium to adhere to the ball. Use a clean soft brush to secure the leafing into place and to remove excess pieces. Top off with a wire length fastened around the cap, bead the ends and add a tassel.

Old world: Apply adhesive sizing randomly around the ball and follow the leafing steps as above. The leafing will only stick to the areas where the medium was applied. Apply a length of Terrifically Tacky Tape around the center of the ball. For a gleaming touch, sprinkle iridescent flakes over the tape and gently pat it.

Glistening swirl: Simply dab a colour of Vitrail paint around a glass ball using a sea sponge. Once dry, apply a band of rice paper with a swirl pattern at the center of the ball with Mod Podge. Apply glitter glaze around the ball. Wrap a piece of coloured wire around the cap of the ball and decorate the ends with beads.

Beaded Rococo: Pour assorted metallic Porcelaine 150 paints into applicator bottles, one for each different colour. Using one colour at a time, squeeze the bottle to release paint along the sides of the ball, letting some of the colours overlap and some areas free of drippings. Let it dry and set for 48 hours. Garnish the ball with a band of colourful micro beads using Terrifically Tacky Tape. For an elaborate cap finish use fuzzy wool and bead accents.

Give older ornaments a renewed look by sprucing them up using the same supplies in order to blend in with your new ornaments. Each year make and add new styles of ornaments to your collection. Make extra ornaments to give as gifts to friends, teachers and relatives.

Variations;

Ribbons and fabric remnants make fabulous ornament embellishments. For a dazzling look use sequins, glitter glues, and old jewellery odds and ends. Modern and minimalist styles of ornaments can be made utilizing materials such as clay, foils, tinsel, wire, and mesh. For special effects make basic geometric shapes using textured or snow paints. For fine details or to inscribe your dinner guests names onto a personalized ornament use Porcelaine liners or markers by Pbo.
